Scare stories – Mexico
It was on the Greyhound bus from Los Angeles to Tijuana that two American lads (with Mexican family) and a Mexican man did their best to tell us every horror story about the country that you could possibly think of. Fake Police who rob you. Real Police who shoot you if you don’t stop for them (because you think they’re fake). Armed robberies. Muggings on the underground in Mexico City. Pickpocketing.
