Well we are back on the road again and it feels a lot longer than three weeks since we first bade farewell to the UK. After a two hour delay on the tarmac at Heathrow (some sort of paperwork issue, followed by a problem with the flight plan because of the volcanic ash) we settled in for what was an extremely long flight – over Greenland and Canada – with American Airlines.
